some eco-friendly supplies from SanMar,
We have been into recycling for many years. We started recycling when we were hiking in our local mountains here in Idyllwild with our greyhounds. I would get off duty at the fire station & we would go for a hike, we kept finding bottles & cans at the trail heads and began cleaning up while we were there. We found we could turn them in for the CRV (now CA Cash) We started a 501c3 non-profit orginazition called Idyllhounds, Recycling to Rescue Racers. Working with all the greyhound groups later lead to the start up of embroidery business.
Woody, A greyhound helping raise money for other greyhounds.
Our first greyhound, Woody, would help Gretchen. She would climb down an embankment off the trail to get a bottle or can, then call Woody. He would come down next to her, she would say Help me Woody and hold his collar, he would then pull her up the hillside.
We have been doing the recycling for the Idyllwild Jazz in the Pines since 2004. All the proceeds from the recycling go to greyhound rescue.
We have recycling bins at the Idyllwild Fire Protection District, and that also goes to the greyhounds.
Many people in our area drop off their recycling to help greyhounds.

Here are some of Greyt Threads Solar Panels. We have additional panels behind this set. It was installed by Carlson Solar
The solar panels conect to these two Trace SunTie ST2500 Inverters producing 5kVA. It is fun to watch the SCE meter spin backwards:)

Connecting The Sun To Your Utility Meter
Trace Engineering’s new Sun Tie (ST) solar electric inverters are designed, built and priced to make the benefits of site-generated PV power easy for anyone to attain. The Sun Tie operates interactively with the utility, without the use of batteries. Made specifically for new, small-scale, independent power producers, the ST is a perfect choice for anyone interested in participating in the emerging Green Power market. The ST is available in four models with output capacity of 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 kVA.
Distributed generation, using the power of the sun, is a win - win choice for the environment, utility companies and consumers alike. With this form of electrical distribution, solar PV power is generated and inverted at the location where it’s used. Solar electricity helps reduce the need for new large-scale—and often environmentally harmful—generating stations and distribution lines.
Consumers can have lower electricity bills because any PV power they generate is either used in their home or business or, when there is excess, sold to the utility company. “Net Metering” is one way electricity is exchanged between the power grid and solar generators. Net Metering programs are available from many utility companies, contact your local electricity provider for details.
Yes, you can become a residential scale power producer and send power back to the utility grid! Small-scale power production is a common occurrence in homes, businesses and utility districts across the globe!
Utilities benefit from increased solar generation by gaining the ability to resell the PV power they purchase to environmentally conscious customers at premium Green Power rates. Consumer generated, solar electricity can also help utility companies meet their growth requirements at lower capital costs. Introducing the Sun Tie Inverter
